Business FAQ

Business waste removal FAQs for Litta account holders - VAT invoicing, credit lines, rate cards, the business portal, cancellation charges, and skip hire.

How Litta works for business customers - business waste accounts, invoicing, credit lines, fixed rate cards for repeat collections, the business portal, cancellation policy, and skip hire for account holders.

Do you provide VAT invoices for business bookings?

Yes. VAT invoices are issued for all bookings.

Can I open a business waste account with Litta?

Businesses with ongoing waste removal needs can request a business account for streamlined invoicing, repeat bookings, and access to a line of credit, subject to a pending credit application.

How does the business account credit line work?

Credit is granted based on a completed application form, our terms of service, and a credit check. Get in touch with our commercial team at [email protected] for more information or to start an application.

Do you offer discounted rates for repeat or scheduled business collections?

Repeat and scheduled bookings run on a fixed rate card, which typically works out better value than ad hoc pricing over both the short and long term.

Can multiple team members manage bookings on one business account?

Yes. Multiple colleagues can access and manage bookings through a centralised business portal, configurable by user permissions - with a dedicated Account/Customer Success Manager for support. Find out more at litta.co.uk/business/business-portal.

What are the cancellation charges for business accounts?

Business cancellation charges are scaled by booking value rather than a flat consumer fee:

  • Cancelling within 14 days of the booked date - £50 admin charge for bookings up to £1,000, or £100 for bookings above £1,000

  • Cancelling within 24 hours of the booked collection - twice the above (£100 admin charge for bookings up to £1,000, or £200 for bookings above £1,000), plus any reasonable supplier charges

Full detail is in our Terms and Conditions.

Can I hire a skip for my business?

Skip hire is currently available to business account holders only. Skip bookings generally need at least 3 business days' notice. A skip booking is a rental for an agreed number of days - it's collected at the end of that period regardless of whether it's full, though you can request an extension for an additional charge before the rental period expires.
